DOORS compatibilty

Hello

May i know were can i get the information regarding

  • Which is the current DOORS 9.3 server which supports for 9.3.0.2 client
  • Software and Hardware requirements of the DOORS 9.3 server which supports 9.3.0.2 client.
  • Known issues of the server.
  • Does DOORS server version 9.1.0.2 is compatible with RTC.
  • Compatibility of DOORS 9.3 with RTC
  • Compatibilty of DOORS 9.3 server with 9.3.0.2 client
  • Compatibilty of DOORS 9.3 server vs DOORS web access + RTC

I am not able to find what are known issues in DOORS 9.3.0.2 server and client and in which version the fix is available.
I have already 9.3.0.2 client installed on my machine with server pointing to 9.1.0.2
So i want to migrate to the DOORS 9.3 server but i want to know which version of the server is compatible for DOORS 9.3.0.2

First, don't use the word "migrate" as that intails modification of the database files. If you have v9x server running, installing any other v9x server software does not intail any "migration". You just turn off the service, possibly uninstall it, install the new server software, then re-start the service.

As far as I know, any v9x server will work with any v9x client. However, you'd be well advised to make sure that a v9Nx server is paired with any v9Nx client, such as v9304 server and v9302 client.

In any event, intuitively I'd think there would be far less potential for problems if the server software is more advanced than the client, so go ahead and install v9306 server and try to upgrade the clients when you have time.
